Paul Williams the garden designer • Your garden is the outdoor space of your home, and as such is a space worthy of as much consideration as the indoor space of your home and deserves the same attention to detail and personal preference that you give to your interior design. Formal training at Pershore College of Horticulture and a life time in horticulture has given me the practical expertise and wide knowledge of plants to be able to create imaginative gardens and plantings but always with an eye on their ease of maintenance and practical management.

Paul Williams the horticultural consultant • With access to a vast amount of practical experience and a network of other specialist advisors to call on, reliable advice can be offered on a wide range of garden problems. Occasional work at the major garden shows as part of the Royal Horticultural Society’s team answering the public’s questions keeps that experience and knowledge topped up.  

Paul Williams the author and writer • Author of several garden books covering climbers, containers, colour in the garden, house plants and a Garden Writer’s Guild award winning book on what is going on inside plants both above and below ground called  ‘Digging Deeper’. A regular contributor to BBC Gardener’s World magazine with occasional offerings in national newspapers. 

Paul Williams the broadcaster • A regular contributor to BBC Radio Oxford with garden features and phone-ins taking listeners’ questions live on air. ISDN facilities are available for studio quality interviews.

Paul Williams the lecturer • Lively and entertaining talks and demonstrations to gardening clubs and societies on container gardening, garden science and topical gardening subjects. Slide shows are avoided and the accent is put on the practical and the use of live plant material - so no talks in the depths of the winter. A recent trip to Japan as a lecturer, designer and judge at the International Rose and Garden Show proved an enlightening and very successful experience.
