Talks are £200 plus travel. Travel is at cost for local talks and by agreement for distant talks.

Design and Consultation

The design process involves an initial meeting in the garden to talk through what you would like from your garden and to get a thorough understanding of your needs. There is a fifty pound charge for this initial meeting which is taken off the cost of the design if the project goes ahead. An estimate of the design cost will be made after this meeting and agreed before any more work is carried out. From that meeting I will prepare a sketch plan which we will go through together to make sure it meets all of your needs and to make any necessary changes. A final plan is then drawn up.

Where the garden is small and simple and no plans exist I will take measurements during my first visit to produce a plan. With larger gardens or where there are significant level changes a survey company would be used to produce a scale plan.

The final design plan would show the plants and details of all the hard elements and materials from which a garden builder could prepare estimates.
